What was announced
Xbox Wire says developer Trioskaz's paranoia horror has already sold more than one million copies on PC. It is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in 2027. Gematsu reports that publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and Trioskaz will also release it on PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via the Microsoft Store in 2027. Gematsu says the game first launched on Steam on September 15, 2025.
The two outlets report different details, so here they are side by side:

Neither source gives a month, a quarter, or a day.
Why Xbox and PC readers should care
- Game Pass is named. Xbox Wire says the game is coming to Game Pass in 2027. It does not name a tier or say whether it will be available on day one. Compare that with Mouthwashing, another CRITICAL REFLEX game covered in the same post. Xbox Wire gives that one a firm October 29, 2026 date, and the post says it arrives day one with Game Pass.
- Xbox One is included. The 2027 list is not limited to current-generation hardware.
- The Microsoft Store is a second PC storefront. According to Gematsu, Windows players will have a Microsoft Store option alongside the existing Steam release. Neither source says whether the game will support Xbox Play Anywhere, cross-save, or Xbox app features on PC. I wouldn't assume any of that.
- The announcement came at a showcase. Xbox Wire says the reveal was part of the ID@Xbox and IGN Showcase on October 20, 2026.
About the game
The Steam page calls the game an anxiety horror about paranoia in the End of Times. In its own description, the world is ending and daylight is deadly, so players stay inside at night. Strangers knock on the door asking for shelter. They look and talk like people, but some are hostile "Visitors." The description tells players to look for signs, hear the guests' stories, and interrogate them. Some guests will help and some will need help. The store text also says plainly that the Visitors kill and that players should kill them first. That is marketing copy for a violent horror game, not an independent review of how it plays.
Steam currently shows the game at 93% positive across 10,143 English reviews. Its minimum PC requirements are modest: Windows 10, a Core i5, 2 GB of RAM, and a GTX 960. Those specs describe the Steam build only. Nobody has announced console or Microsoft Store specifications.
Wikipedia describes the Steam version as Windows-only. It also notes that a PlayStation version was announced back in April 2025. The game was first revealed at the Triple-I Initiative in April 2025. Game8 said at the time that PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions were in development, with no date and no Game Pass announcement. The 2027 window is therefore the first firm timing for consoles.
What is still unknown
- The release date, or even the quarter.
- Price, and whether Game Pass will have it at launch.
- Console-specific features, performance targets, and regional availability.
- Whether all platforms launch on the same day.
Bottom line
The platform list is firm, and "2027" is the only timing anyone has given. Xbox and Game Pass players can add the game to a wishlist. PC players who prefer the Microsoft Store will get that option. Anyone who wants to play now can use the existing Steam version. For release timing, wait for a real date.
