ScreenHub’s list of seven games for the week of September 28 has plenty for Windows players, from a Microsoft-published dungeon crawler to motocross and aerial combat. But there is a release-date correction worth making before anyone clears their calendar: Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve launches October 2, 2026—not October 1, as the roundup states. September 29 is its early-access date for Deluxe Edition buyers.

Six of the seven entries have listed PC versions. Here is what is scheduled, what each game offers, and where the Windows requirements deserve a second look.

September 29: Four different kinds of adventure

Minecraft Dungeons II heads to Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch and Switch 2. The Xbox Game Studios-published sequel trades mining for loot-driven combat, with online and local co-op for up to four players. Its Steam listing calls for Windows 10 64-bit, version 1703 or newer, at least 8GB of RAM and a DirectX 11 graphics card with 2GB of VRAM. One practical detail for Steam buyers: the listing says a Microsoft account is required and can be linked to a Steam account.

TOEM 2 offers a quieter itinerary. The photography adventure revolves around exploring, helping characters and using a camera to solve puzzles. Steam lists a September 29 Windows release, alongside macOS and Linux support, and identifies it as a single-player game. ScreenHub also lists PlayStation 5, Switch and Switch 2; players choosing a particular console edition should confirm its store listing before purchasing.

Nivalis Nights puts players to work in a cyberpunk city, building businesses and relationships rather than fighting through dungeons. Its Steam specifications are notably more informative than the usual vague “gaming PC required”: the minimum calls for 16GB of RAM, a GPU such as a GTX 1660 SUPER with 6GB of VRAM, 42GB of storage and an SSD. The developer associates that minimum with 1080p at 30 frames per second on the very low preset. Those are published targets, not independently tested performance results—and a useful warning for anyone planning to install it on an older laptop.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered arrives on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and as a native Switch 2 version. CD Projekt Red says it is a free upgrade for existing owners on qualifying platforms, with changes extending beyond graphics to combat, movement, monster behavior and character progression. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are part of the package. The newly announced Songs of the Past expansion is separate paid content planned for 2027, not a third expansion arriving on September 29.

The takeaway for Tuesday: check the edition you already own before buying The Witcher 3 again, and check the storage and GPU requirements before committing to Nivalis Nights.

October 1: Battlefields and dirt tracks

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered is scheduled for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. Koei Tecmo says it combines Dynasty Warriors 3 with Xtreme Legends, while adding combat options including timed dodges, guards and weapon fusion. Its return of offline two-player split-screen is the feature to note if you want to play beside someone rather than merely share an online lobby.

MXGP 26: The Official Game covers the MXGP and MX2 championships across 19 official tracks. Publisher Nacon says the series has moved to Unreal Engine 5; that is a technology change, not proof of how well it runs on any given PC. Steam lists Windows 10 or 11, DirectX 12, 12GB of RAM, a GTX 1080 with 8GB of VRAM and 26GB of available storage as its minimum requirements. An SSD is recommended rather than required.

October 2: Ace Combat 8’s general launch

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is coming to Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Bandai Namco dates the standard launch to October 2 and says Deluxe Edition early access begins September 29. That distinction matters: the earlier date is an edition benefit, not the general release date, and ScreenHub’s October 1 listing matches neither.

For PC players, this is less a seven-way race to hit “buy” than a reminder to check three separate things: the actual unlock date, the edition’s contents and your system requirements. The release calendar is crowded; your SSD does not have to be.
