The Xbox Store listing for the add-on shows it as free, with a release date of September 22, 2026. It is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. XB Deals, which tracks the US Xbox Store, logged the pack among recently added items and shows it as FREE, with a listed end date of 2026-11-19. That date matches KRAFTON's September 2026 store update, which runs the console offer from September 22 at 16:00 UTC to November 20 at 00:00 UTC. The deadline therefore lands on the evening of November 19 in the Americas.
TheXboxHub's Neil Watton reported the pack on September 23 and correctly stressed that it is limited-time and one per account. He gave no end date, though. If you plan to claim it "later," the date you need is November 20 00:00 UTC.
The pack is an add-on for the free-to-play PUBG: Battlegrounds, not a new game release. The Xbox listing names PUBG Corp as developer and publisher, while TheXboxHub credits KRAFTON, Inc. PUBG Corp operates under KRAFTON's PUBG brand, and the credit difference has no effect on how you claim or use the pack.
Five Hunter's Chests Buy Random Rolls in PUBG's Workshop
The Xbox Store lists the contents as Hunter's Chest x5, Key x5 and 80 Contraband Coupons. The store text explains that the chests and keys go straight to the Workshop crafting menu once the pack is unlocked. Contraband Coupons are the currency for the game's Contraband system.
The pack does not guarantee any particular item. The listing warns that it contains items with randomized probabilities and points players to the Hunter's Chest preview in the in-game store for the detailed odds. Xbox's content descriptors say the same thing, flagging "In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items)." In practice you are getting five free chest openings plus a stack of coupons, and what comes out of the chests depends on luck. If you want to know your chances of getting a specific skin, check the Hunter's Chest preview before you open anything.
Every item is free to claim, so there is no cost to weigh. The main point of this section is to set expectations: the pack will add items to your collection, but you cannot choose which ones.
Only Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox Consoles Qualifies for Survivor Pack #3
The official product description says the pack is available for free to Game Pass Ultimate members, and every official source we checked says Ultimate specifically. KRAFTON's own Xbox Wire post about the first pack of the year was looser, saying Xbox Game Pass members can claim the exclusive Survivor Pack #1. The store listing is the more specific record. On that basis, you should not assume Game Pass Core, Standard or PC Game Pass will unlock Pack #3.
The listing names only Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and KRAFTON's update labels the offer "Console (Xbox Game Pass)." No official source mentions availability for PUBG on Steam or on Windows through PC Game Pass. Players who run PUBG only on a Windows PC should treat this as a console-only perk.
The single-claim limit applies per account. The listing says the package "can only be downloaded once per account for a limited time." If you have already claimed it, you will not get a second copy.
Survivor Packs #1, #2 and #3 Put PUBG's Xbox Perks on a Regular Schedule
Pack #3 is the latest in a regular series rather than a one-off. PUBG's March 2026 store update said that Xbox Game Pass players can also claim Hunter's Chests, Keys, and Contraband Coupons with the first Survivor Pack of 2026. The Xbox Wire anniversary post gave that window as running from March 25, adding that this offer is available until May 23. The pattern so far is one pack every three months or so, each open for roughly two months. The official material gives exact quantities only for Pack #3, so it does not show whether the three packs were identical in size or value. The same March store update also listed a separate PlayStation Plus console window, which shows that KRAFTON runs matching subscriber promotions on both consoles.
Going by that inference, a fourth pack around the turn of the year would fit the pattern. KRAFTON has not announced one, and nothing in the official record confirms another drop in 2026.

If you already play PUBG on Xbox and pay for Game Pass Ultimate, claim the pack now through the Xbox Store. Everyone else can skip it.
