What's in the box
Razer's October 29 newsroom announcement confirms five products:
- DeathAdder V4 Pro EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition: Razer calls it an ultra-lightweight wireless ergonomic esports mouse. It also includes an exclusive display stand inspired by the transport platform used to prepare EVA-01 for deployment. The stand is the one clearly new physical item in the set.
- BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition: a wireless mechanical keyboard. Razer's description mentions tactile precision, low-latency wireless, hot-swappable switches and a compact tenkeyless layout.
- Leviathan V2 X EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition: a compact, USB Type-C powered PC gaming soundbar. TweakTown notes that soundbars don't usually get this treatment in Razer collaborations.
- Gigantus V2 XXL EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition: a large mouse mat with a textured cloth surface and a stable base, according to Razer. The announcement gives no dimensions or thickness.
- Iskur V2 X EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition: Razer says it has integrated lumbar support and is now finished in EVA-01's distinctive design.
All of these performance descriptions are Razer's own marketing language. Razer's announcement doesn't say the themed editions change the hardware or performance of the standard products. It describes them as the same products in a new finish, plus the mouse stand. Details such as the keyboard's battery life, its connection modes and the soundbar's audio specs aren't in the announcement, so don't assume they differ from the regular models.
Availability: the part the TweakTown story skips
TweakTown says no date, purchase location or prices are specified. Razer's announcement and other coverage fill in some of that:
- Region: Razer's announcement describes the collection as Asia Pacific only. Tech Barrista reports Razer has confirmed the collection is exclusive to the Asia-Pacific region. Treat it as not a US or European launch. A Razer product page may still exist for readers elsewhere, but that doesn't mean the products can be bought there.
- Retail channels: Essential Japan reports Razer has confirmed the collection will be sold through Amazon and selected retail partners across the Asia-Pacific region, with availability varying by market.
- Japan: Essential Japan also says Japanese pre-orders were scheduled to begin in October 2026, and that Razer hasn't confirmed any wider international release. Its yen prices include ¥32,980 for the mouse and ¥69,980 for the chair.
- China: a Chinese-language EVANGELION:ALL report dated October 29 lists a November 28 release. It gives yuan prices of ¥1,399 for the mouse, ¥1,499 for the keyboard, ¥899 for the soundbar, ¥299 for the mouse mat and ¥2,499 for the chair. Those prices add up to ¥6,595 for all five.
These prices come from regional reports. They aren't a global MSRP, and they shouldn't be converted into US pricing. Razer's own announcement lists no prices, and I found no confirmed single worldwide release date.
Is it really "limited edition"?
TweakTown uses that phrase, but Razer's announcement doesn't state a production cap, a numbered run or a pre-order quantity. What Razer does say is that the collection is region-restricted. Whether stock runs out quickly is a separate question that nobody has answered yet.
Context for PC gear buyers
Razer has done themed sets before. Hardware Cooking points to its Pokémon pixel-art collection and its Xbox 25th-anniversary edition. Tech Barrista says Razer previously released an EVA-02 collection with a different visual direction. This one follows the same pattern of a themed finish on existing hardware.
If you want the underlying gear without the anime, the standard DeathAdder V4 Pro, BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed and the others are existing products. The EVA-01 versions are mostly about the design and, for the mouse, the display stand.
What to do if you're outside Asia Pacific
- Check Razer's regional store for your country before assuming the collection is sold there.
- Be careful with third-party resellers and import listings. Razer hasn't announced any plans outside Asia Pacific, so a price or "limited" claim from an importer isn't confirmed by Razer.
- Before paying a premium, compare the themed price with the standard model's price. The only confirmed extra is the mouse stand.
Bottom line
This is a cosmetic collaboration across five Razer products. The mouse stand is the only confirmed addition, and the collection is confirmed only for Asia Pacific. Razer hasn't announced a global release date or global pricing.
Correction (November 2, 2026): The China prices listed for the five items add up to ¥6,595, not ¥7,495 as originally stated.
