Xbox used the ID@Xbox x IGN showcase on October 20, 2026 to confirm eight games for Game Pass. Three have 2026 dates and the rest have vague 2027 windows. The details differ a little between Xbox's own recap and some coverage, so the specifics matter.

GameRant reports that eight new Xbox Game Pass games were revealed during the showcase and will arrive on the service the day they launch. Xbox Wire's official recap backs up the list. It also shows the "day one" label and the platform lists vary from game to game. The recap is a first-party summary, so it describes the games and doesn't review them.

The 2026 arrivals

  • Scramble Knights Online (October 26). Xbox calls it an MMO-lite action RPG where you explore the shared online kingdom of Terracott as a knight-in-training. It launches October 26, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. That is six days after the showcase.
  • Mouthwashing (October 29). Xbox describes it as a psychological horror drama about taking responsibility for the dying crew of a shipwrecked space freighter. It arrives on Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox One and Game Pass on October 29, 2026. It is the only one of the eight that lists Xbox One alongside Series X|S and PC.
  • A Game About Digging a Hole Together (December 4). Xbox describes it as a minimalist experience about digging a hole at the beach, now with friends. It is heading to Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Game Pass on December 4, 2026.

The 2027 arrivals

  • Croak. The recap describes a hand-drawn 2D precision platformer in which you tongue-grapple and pinball-bounce a frog prince. It also mentions boss fights, collectibles and an online speedrunning leaderboard. It is due March 2027 for Series X|S and Xbox on PC, "day one with Game Pass", and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
  • Mr. Magpie's Harmless Card Game. It is coming to Xbox and Game Pass on day one, with Matt Mercer voicing Mr. Magpie. Xbox puts it in early 2027 and says it supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
  • Drill Keeper. This is a deck-building roguelike about siege defense. Xbox lists it for summer 2027 on Xbox on PC and Game Pass, with no console version named.
  • No, I'm Not a Human. Xbox calls it an apocalyptic anxiety thriller about interrogating door-knocking strangers to spot shape-shifting impostors. It is listed for Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass in 2027, and the recap doesn't name a PC version.
  • Red Kiss. Xbox says it is a tactical narrative RPG about vampire spies in Cold War Berlin. It is "coming soon" to Series X|S, will arrive day one on Game Pass, and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

Where the coverage disagrees

GameRant gives Red Kiss a general 2027 window and lists PC for several titles. Xbox's recap says only "coming soon" for Red Kiss and names only Series X|S. Another roundup, from Gamer Social Club, also puts Red Kiss in 2027 and lists PC alongside Xbox Series. That roundup also says Drill Keeper will launch day one on PC Game Pass.

Where the sources differ, treat Xbox Wire as the authority. Don't assume a 2027 date for Red Kiss or a PC version until Xbox or the developer confirms it.

Platform coverage also varies between sources:

  • GameRant lists PC for No, I'm Not a Human, but Xbox's recap names only Series X|S and Xbox One.
  • GameRant lists Series X|S and PC for Mouthwashing, and Xbox's own recap also names Xbox One.

What this means for subscribers

  • Plan for the next week. Scramble Knights Online and Mouthwashing both land within days of each other, so they are the only two you can expect to play before November.
  • Check your tier. Xbox's recap doesn't say which Game Pass tiers get each title. Check your own plan before assuming access.
  • Don't confuse Play Anywhere with Game Pass. They are separate. Xbox says many showcase games will support Play Anywhere at launch, which lets you play across console and PC at no extra cost. The recap names Croak, Mr. Magpie's Harmless Card Game and Red Kiss among the eight. Don't assume the rest have it.
  • Treat 2027 as rough. Everything beyond December 4 is a month, season or year estimate, and indie schedules often slip.
  • Keep the Shrek 2 Remastered offer separate. GameRant notes that the game is not coming to Game Pass at launch. Xbox's recap lists it as a November 10, 2026 release with a pre-order discount of up to 20% for Game Pass members and 10% for non-members, running through November 9. It is a promotion, not a Game Pass addition.

The bigger picture

The ID@Xbox showcases are a reliable source of day-one Game Pass indie announcements. Pure Xbox noted before the event that the ID@Xbox Showcase usually brings a bunch of Game Pass announcements. For PC players, Drill Keeper is a reminder that "Game Pass" doesn't always mean every platform. The mix of Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox One across the eight titles means your hardware decides which ones you can play.
