Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is a day-one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox bills it as the first open-world escape room game, with online and local two-player co-op. Firefighting Simulator: Ignite arrived on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It is listed for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. MySims Cozy Bundle is "now available on console and Cloud Gaming." It collects two retro re-releases, MySims and MySims Kingdom.
The "2 new cozy games" framing
The "two new cozy games" in the headline are the two titles inside one bundle. Gamespew's table shows the bundle added on November 5 for Ultimate and PC, and not for Premium. The news is that the bundle reached console and cloud. It is not a pair of fresh launches.
Who gets what
| Game | Ultimate | Premium | PC Game Pass | Day one? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
| Firefighting Simulator: Ignite | Yes | Yes | Yes | Not stated |
| MySims Cozy Bundle | Yes | No | Yes | Not applicable (console and cloud expansion) |
Premium subscribers get only the firefighting game from this trio. Ultimate and PC Game Pass members get all three.
The EA Play angle
Xbox lists the MySims bundle for Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox Wire's EA Play post separately says nothing — more precisely, it says the bundle sits on EA Play's Play List and can be played via Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox PC Game Pass, or Game Pass Ultimate with EA Play. EA Play members also get 10% off EA digital purchases, subject to terms and exclusions.
GameRant says the bundle first reached Game Pass as a PC-only offering in January 2026. AllKeyShop likewise says the PC version has been available through EA Play since January 2026. Neither Xbox's announcement nor EA's game page sets out that earlier history, so treat the exact January date as secondhand reporting. EA's page does confirm the bundle reached Xbox and PlayStation on November 10, 2025, which makes the Game Pass console addition a separate, later event.
What GameRant adds that isn't confirmed
GameRant makes several forward-looking claims that no official source supports:
- Escape Academy 2 length of stay. GameRant expects it to stay on the service about as long as the original did. That is a prediction.
- Premium timing. GameRant says it could reach Premium as early as mid-2027. Xbox has announced no such date.
- MySims and lower tiers. GameRant says the bundle is unlikely to reach lower-priced tiers. That is analysis, not an announcement.
- Biggest exodus of 2026. The superlative about November 15 is not established. The count of 13 departures is confirmed, but I have no data comparing it with other months this year.
What's next on the schedule
Xbox's announcement lists the upcoming wave. Day-one titles on November 10 are Football Manager 27 Console, Warhammer Survivors and Tanuki: Pon's Summer. Hope in the City follows on November 11 as a day-one release. Thronefall arrives the same day, and John Carpenter's Toxic Commando on November 12. Aphelion and Paw Patrol: Dino World arrive November 17. Aphelion is newly coming to Premium.
Games leaving on November 15
Xbox lists 13 departures on that date:
- 1000xResist
- Barbie Horse Trails
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
- Firefighting Simulator – The Squad
- GoldenEye 007
- Great God Grove
- Moonlighter
- Pigeon Simulator
- Police Simulator: Patrol Officers
- Relic Hunters Legend
- Total Chaos
- Winter Burrow
- Wreckfest
FullCleared notes the new firefighting game arrives as its predecessor, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad, leaves on November 15. If you want to finish any of the departing games, you have until then. Xbox's post also suggests buying titles you love before they leave.
Bottom line
The practical summary:
- One day-one sequel, Escape Academy 2, is for Ultimate and PC subscribers only.
- One firefighting sim is available on all three listed tiers.
- One bundle now reaches console and cloud, but only for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Anything beyond that, including tier changes and how long titles stay, is still speculation.
