Xbox’s Stream Your Own Game catalog has received another reported expansion, with TrueAchievements identifying 47 additions in its September 30, 2026 update. The reported lineup includes CONTROL Resonant, Minecraft Dungeons II, Dune: Awakening, and Marvel Rivals—giving eligible players more games to stream on supported devices.

There is one important accounting wrinkle: TrueAchievements reports 47 additions, but its published list contains 46 named games. Those entries are reproduced below without inventing a missing title. The additions are attributed to TrueAchievements; Xbox’s official announcements independently establish the service’s access rules and upcoming cloud-playtime changes, rather than confirming this particular batch.

More streaming options, not 47 free games

The key distinction is between adding cloud support and adding a game to the Game Pass subscription catalog. Microsoft’s launch explanation describes Stream Your Own Game as a way to stream selected games players own, including games outside Game Pass. A supported title appearing in this collection does not automatically make it included with a subscription.

The subscription requirement has also evolved. Although the feature launched for Ultimate members in November 2024, Xbox Wire’s April 30, 2026 update explicitly lists Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential as eligible for a collection exceeding 1,000 owned games across supported devices. An Ultimate-only description would therefore miss Microsoft’s subsequently expanded access.

The practical takeaway: check both the game’s cloud eligibility and your account’s entitlement. “Available to stream” and “included with my subscription” are different questions—similar-looking doors, different keys.

The reported September 30 additions

TrueAchievements highlights CONTROL Resonant and says Minecraft Dungeons II, Dune: Awakening, Well Dweller, and Mad King Redemption have received streaming support. It also identifies Marvel Rivals as joining the collection.

Its named additions are:

This is a 46-title list supporting a reported 47-title update, not a verified complete enumeration of all 47 additions.

TrueAchievements also suggests slower-paced options such as Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, Rivage, and Gothic II Complete Classic as potential cloud-play candidates. That is editorial judgment, not a performance guarantee or evidence of measured latency for these games.

What Windows players should check first

Microsoft’s documented browser route offers a straightforward way to access the feature on a supported PC:

  1. Open Xbox’s cloud-play website in a supported browser, such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
  2. Sign in with the Xbox account carrying your eligible subscription and game ownership.
  3. Find “Stream your own game” and select an eligible title you own.
  4. Connect a supported controller and start the game.

Xbox’s launch instructions support this sequence and note that only some PC cloud games support mouse and keyboard. Successful access means the eligible game starts streaming; seeing a title in the collection alone does not establish ownership.

Before purchasing specifically for streaming, verify that the title is shown as playable for your account. Likewise, do not assume PC access guarantees keyboard-and-mouse controls: Microsoft’s April update treats mouse-and-keyboard support and touch controls as separate, game-specific cloud capabilities.

In short, check eligibility, entitlement, and input support before settling in.

November changes the cloud-play calculation

The expansion arrives shortly before a substantial service change. In its September 3 announcement, Xbox said monthly cloud-gaming allowances will begin in November 2026:

Game Pass planIncluded monthly cloud hours
Ultimate15
Premium10
Essential5

Xbox said eligible subscribers could stream without these monthly hour limits when it announced the change. It also said subscribers would be able to buy additional playtime through the Xbox Store, with purchasing options and availability varying by market. That announcement does not establish additional-hour prices.

Microsoft also announced a November option to purchase cloud hours without a Game Pass subscription and stream eligible owned games. Its stated rationale is the growing cost of delivering cloud gaming; it acknowledges that some players will face higher costs and estimates the change will affect 4% of Game Pass subscribers. That percentage is Microsoft’s estimate, not an independent finding.

The reader-value calculation is therefore changing alongside the catalog. More eligible games can make streaming more useful, but frequent cloud players will also need to consider their monthly allowance. A bigger library is welcome; it should not be confused with either broader game ownership or unlimited playing time.
