You should be able to access your backups via Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Backup and Restore
Your backups may not contain older stuff - difficult to say. And the backups aren't in a direct read mode.
If you want to delete, Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\Disk Management will give you the tools to format / delete partitions.
