    Have you tried lokking into to power management tool in the control panel? Maybe the settings are wrong in there, maybe it's set on energy saving mode on main power? I have seen several people with that.

    Do you have wireless internet or not? If so, do you have a port forwarded? and do you have the right drivers for your network card installed, because some network cards have new drivers for windows 7 that work better then the earlier drivers.

    Sounds like the kind of problems I had with my windows 7 installation, if you have really tried everything maybe you should reinstall windows. I had to do the same...and the premier edition works for me now, you can follow my guide, it worked for me so it should be a working result...

    Well I don't really agree with you on that. It's true that direct x 9.0c and direct x 10 are for a part in direct x 11, but as allways, certain direct x files are not. So installing the latest update of the older direct x is allways a good way to make sure you have all the latest direct x files...
