aliasing
About this tag
Aliasing in Windows refers to the jagged edges or stair-step effect visible on fonts, graphics, and game visuals, often caused by insufficient anti-aliasing settings or driver issues. Discussions on WindowsForum.com cover aliasing problems in Windows 7 64-bit, where users report jagged fonts, flash graphics, icons, and game textures despite updated drivers and third-party tweaks. These threads explore potential fixes such as adjusting video card settings, changing output modes, or seeking driver updates to improve anti-aliasing quality.
