allow rules
About this tag
Allow rules in Windows Firewall define permitted network traffic for applications, ports, or users. Discussions cover creating custom allow rules to grant internet or LAN access based on security groups, such as allowing all traffic for admins while restricting users to LAN only. Users also encounter unexpected allow rules added automatically by third-party software, raising questions about resetting the firewall to its default rule set. These topics highlight managing allow rules for security and troubleshooting in Windows environments.

allow all...
