    Windows 7 allow/block programs from accessing dns server in windows firewall

    i have a policy in windows firewall "Core Networking - DNS (UDP-Out)" that allows all programs to access the dns server, but i want to choose which programs are allowed, how to do so?

    Windows 7 firewall oddity

    i'm trying to run a program that used to work on vista/xp no issue. It wants to connect to port 2921 but its refused. i guess its my firewall, however, when i try to get into the control panel>firewall>allowed programs even though the program is ok'd it doesn;t work PLUS the change settings...

    Windows 7 Strange Firewall Error

    When I try to access the "Allowed Programs" page inside of the "Windows Firewall" settings, it displays the attached error message. "The page cannot be loaded." Windows 7 Beta Build 7000 2GB RAM 32-Bit
