About this tag
The asus chromebook plus tag collects WindowsForum.com coverage of Google's Chromebook Plus hardware as it intersects with emerging Googlebook OS experiments. The supplied discussion centers on a tinkerer booting Googlebook OS, an Android-stack system that keeps ChromeOS desktop foundations, on an ASUS Chromebook Plus. Reported results were smooth performance, but Wi-Fi and audio failed, and the thread raises two practical questions: when existing laptops get an official upgrade path, and whether an Android-based architecture slows older x86 processors. Google has promised official device eligibility and migration details later, so the tag remains useful for tracking early hands-on reports and upgrade expectations.
