    Low recording levels for external microphone

    I've gone into Sound Settings to maximize recording levels when a table mic (Audio-Technica ATR2500x-USB) is plugged in, but the levels are still very low even though I'm reasonably close to the mic. That's obvious just from listening to test recordings (with the playback volume on high), and...
