bi-hourly
About this tag
The bi-hourly tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about scheduled system events that occur every two hours, particularly in the context of Windows beta software expiration. A notable example is the Windows 7 beta, which began bi-hourly shutdowns on July 1, 2009, as a precursor to its full expiration on August 1, 2009. Users can check their system's expiration date by running Winver.exe. This tag is relevant for users tracking beta software lifecycles and understanding how Microsoft enforces time-limited preview builds.
The Windows 7 beta will begin bi-hourly shutdowns on July 1, 2009 and will expire on August 1, 2009.
