bitlocker automatic encryption
About this tag
BitLocker automatic encryption is a Windows feature that can cause boot issues after a fresh installation, especially when bypassing Microsoft account creation. In a reported case on WindowsForum, a user installed Windows 25H2 and skipped the Microsoft account setup, only to find the system would not boot from the internal drive afterward. This suggests that automatic encryption may have interfered with the boot configuration or partition structure. Users encountering similar problems may need to check BitLocker recovery or disable automatic encryption before installation to avoid boot failures.
