About this tag
Discussions tagged with 'browser window' on WindowsForum.com focus on unexpected behavior where typing certain keys, such as 't', triggers the opening of a new browser window. Users report this issue persisting across Windows 7 and Windows 10, interrupting workflow by shifting focus away from the current document. The tag covers troubleshooting steps to identify and stop this unwanted automatic window opening, often related to keyboard shortcuts or software conflicts.
About 40% of the time, when I type a t, a new window opens an my cursor is there. I have to click back on my original document. If it (just happened) opens a browser window, I have to close that. It started in Win 7 and carried over to Win 10. How do I st (and again) op it.
