About this tag
The tag 'cabled' on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about wired network connections, typically referring to Ethernet-based LAN setups. Topics include troubleshooting connectivity issues with cabled connections on Windows 7 and Windows XP systems, such as password prompts when accessing shared folders between cabled and wireless devices, and driver problems affecting both Wi-Fi and cabled network adapters on laptops like the Acer Aspire 5315. Users seek solutions for random network behavior and driver compatibility, often involving router configurations and driver reinstallation.

i have a laptop acer aspire 5315 running win 7, and it worked fine with the beta version of seven, since the rc1 (maybe after an update), i can't get the network to work. neither wifi nor cabled.
the troubleshooter says it's a driver issue.
i tried to reinstall them with the vista sp1...
