About this tag
Cached links refer to the stored copies of web pages and resources that Internet Explorer saves locally to speed up browsing. On Windows, these are typically stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder, but users may find that visited links are not always visible there. This tag covers discussions about locating and managing cached links, including issues where expected cached content does not appear in the expected folder path, such as C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files. Topics include browser settings, hidden files, and troubleshooting missing cached links on new Windows PCs.
