Campaign tracking in the Windows Dev Center allows developers to monitor the performance of their advertising and marketing efforts for Windows Store apps. Microsoft introduced campaign tracking reporting as a live feature, enabling developers to define and track campaigns directly within Dev Center. This capability is part of a broader set of tools that also includes pubCenter integration for managing ads-in-apps and compliance features for apps targeting children. By using campaign tracking, developers can analyze the effectiveness of their promotional activities and optimize their app marketing strategies. The feature is available to developers submitting apps to the Windows Store, including those targeting Windows 10.
