ci.dll
About this tag
The ci.dll file is a Windows component related to Code Integrity, which verifies the digital signatures of drivers and system files. On WindowsForum.com, users have reported BSOD errors involving ci.dll, often occurring during login or while running memory-intensive applications like AutoCAD. These crashes may appear alongside other drivers such as ntoskrnl.exe, Ntfs.sys, or tcpip.sys. Troubleshooting steps discussed include checking for driver conflicts, running memory diagnostics, and examining minidump files. While ci.dll itself is not a driver, its involvement in a BSOD typically indicates a problem with system file integrity or a corrupted driver signature.
