Hi
I was surprised that CCleaner popped up saying that I had a lot of material to remove since I had run it last night.
A quick check showed that I had a new "Windows.Old" folder.
I went to Windows update and sure enough version 10162 was ready to install.
I never realised that it created the...

This all started several months ago. My laptop was stuck in processing updates for hours, even when I had got off work. I turned it off by holding down the power button, the I turned it back on. After booting up, it continued to process updates. I turned off again the same way I did the first...
I've noticed lately that when I do a clean install of windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit, that it installs the Apple Bonjour service. Can somebody please explain to me why this is? I've not downloaded any Apple software nor have I connected an Apple product to my PC. This clean install was done on 6/18/15.

I am in dire need of some help. I have tried the Microsoft Answer Desk, both in chat and on the phone, and have had no luck. I recently purchased all the hardware to build myself a custom build computer, along with a Windows 7 Pro OEM disk. I am not new to building computers (although it has...

So, my laptop has a problem where it crashed while setting up a new account after resetting the laptop, and it said I needed to restart my "install disk" well I didn't have an install disk so I was screwed. I searched around eBay for an affordable Windows 8 Copy but to no avail. So, does anyone...

Hi
Here's the new version.
After doing a clean install my C:\ drive is using 55 Gigabytes of the 100 available.
I've eliminated Hiberfil.sys, removed Recovery Image, and moved the Pagefile to another drive.
The thing that really puzzles me is how much space it used for System Volume...
Hi
I've got my computer all up and running again with everything installed and for the most part working.
It's running very well, but there is a down side.

I can clearly see that she is sending the speech signal to my Sound Blaster Card, but unlike last time...

I have a HP desktop that came with Vista Home Premium 32 bit and two identical hard drives configured in RAID 1. My access to the RAID drives was through Intel Storage Matrix Console. I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. My question is what happened to my RAID 1...
On my new clean install, Cortana is actually speaking when it responds.
I had the panel lock up when I first enabled the Respond to Hey Cortana setting, but after a reboot it seems to be working better.
Many questions are met with "I can't do that until after an update". More use of the App...
