coasters
About this tag
On WindowsForum.com, the tag coasters covers two distinct topics. One is the literal creation of custom drink coasters, often using printable media or LightScribe templates, as a creative project. The other is the common term for failed optical disc burns—DVDs or CDs that become unusable coasters due to hardware issues, media problems, or software errors. Discussions include troubleshooting consistent burn failures, analyzing why burns fail at the same spot on different drives, and seeking solutions for burning video files that play on a computer but not on external DVD players. The tag also appears in a thread about Planet Coaster game creations, though that is a separate usage.
