Windows 7 internal card reader not recognizing card; driver is working properly
Hi, I have a "SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash" 4GB card and an internal card reader (HP desktop). When I insert the card into the reader, the green light above the slot turns on as if it recognizes the device, but it doesn't show up. Device Manager says that the driver is installed and working...- ftk

I stuck a compact flash memory card into my computer and it wouldn't see it. Somewhere I saw that the computer sees memory cards as drive K. Windows 7 memory card loading as the hard drive
Very strange thing happening. When I plug my compactflash card into my memory card reader a window opens showing a new drive(G) but it shows the contents of my second hard drive(D). My external hard drive loads correctly as does my ipod. I am using windows 7- 64 bit any ideas?- Shumboom
