    SID dependent program not working on another computer- Closed!

    Unable to apply the backup of a program on a new computer. I backed up the settings of a program on one PC and when I try to restore the settings on another PC it does not allow because the SID changed. How can I get it to work even though that is the issue.

    External Storage Issue

    I use an external Drive to store my files. I frequently get diconnected (usually on Windows updates) and then it takes days to reconnect. I use two computers and both access the ext Drive wirelessly, and usually they can both connect.
