About this tag
The tag 'connected' on WindowsForum.com covers topics related to devices and services that are linked or joined to a network or system. Discussions include managing connected devices on a Wi-Fi network, such as viewing other users' IPs or MAC addresses. Users also explore automating actions when hardware is connected, like triggering a Windows Task Scheduler event when headphones are plugged in. Additionally, the tag touches on security for connected accounts, such as Microsoft's two-step verification for services like Windows, Xbox, and Outlook. Router management of connected devices, including blacklisting, is another recurring theme. These threads reflect user interest in controlling and monitoring connections across Windows environments.
Hello everybody,
I try to schedule an action with the windows task scheduler.
However, I don't know how to find the event : " A new jack has been connected"
Can somebody help me ?
Thanks
I want to buy a router which let me move devices to blacklist or release them easily? Someone said this software which is My WIFI Router can manage the connected device. Any idea?
Microsoft is to further improve on security by add a two stage verification to it's Microsoft accounts:
You may not see any changes as of yet. I checked my account and the option isn't yet available.

How can I see who else is connected to the same wifi network as I am? Any display of the IPs or MAC ids that are using the same internet connection?
If not clear please ask me and I will explain more.
Thank you.
