connection limit
About this tag
Discussions about the connection limit in Windows, particularly Windows 7, reveal confusion between device limits and share connections. Users report that while the EULA states a 20-device limit, actual share connections can exceed this, causing issues. The hidden IPC$ share increments connections, leading to problems when approaching 20 share connections, even though XP handled 30 without issue. This tag covers troubleshooting connection limits in Windows networking, especially for P2P servers.
