    Windows 7 AHCI mode add a HDD and context scan disabling

    Thank you for your help , In AHCI mode I can add a HDD via Hot Swap, and Windows 7 keeps scanning the contents each time I do so , this is quite annoying . How can I disable this function please ? Thank you Ralph
