About this tag
The tag 'crawl' on WindowsForum.com is used in discussions about extremely slow internet browsing speeds, where users describe their connection as moving at a crawl. In one thread, a user reports browser speeds of 0.6 Mbps despite a connection status showing 56 Mbps, occurring across all browsers on a fresh Windows install with updated drivers and no third-party software. Troubleshooting steps include resetting Windows, checking Wi-Fi connections, and verifying other devices work normally on the same network. The tag captures performance issues where network throughput is severely degraded, often requiring deeper investigation into system or network configurations.
