daily shutdowns
About this tag
The daily shutdowns tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about computers that shut down unexpectedly on a recurring daily schedule. In one thread, a user running Windows 10 Insider Preview build 20231.1000 reports their machine shuts down every morning between 6am and 7am. The user has checked Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor but found no clear error or critical events prior to the shutdowns. The issue began before a recent OS update, suggesting it may not be directly caused by the build. Troubleshooting steps mentioned include examining administrative events and log files in C:\Windows. This tag is relevant for users experiencing similar scheduled shutdowns and seeking diagnostic advice.
