    Windows 8 How big, in MB or GB, is the Windows 8 installer download?

    I am on a capped data line so I need to budget and make sure I have enough data. So, how big is the download? Also, do I get an install file to keep and use when I format or does it download and install directly, without a stand-alone install file? Thanks
