IMAPI2 doesn't release file handles when it writes in multisession mode to DVD-RW media.
When you burn data in multisession mode to a DVD-RW media using IMAPIv2, the original files that are getting burned cannot be modified even though the writing process has been completed and all IMAPIv2 objects have been released. Link Removed- News

Windows 7 Endless File/Path Access Error - Problems - Help?
It seems no matter what I do, Windows 7, obviously my superior, won't let me. I wrote an app in VB6 for a client. It writes data to text files and creates pdf files.
