About this tag
Discussions about the default action for file types in Windows, such as changing what happens when you double-click a video or audio file. Users seek to modify the default action from one program to another, like switching from playing a video with MPC to adding it to a playlist, or fixing an mp3 file that opens with the wrong program despite correct file associations. The tag covers troubleshooting steps for resetting or changing the default action, often involving registry edits or adjusting settings in media players.
