default behavior

About this tag
The tag 'default behavior' on WindowsForum.com covers user questions about changing preset system actions in Windows, particularly in File Explorer. Common topics include overriding the default date-based sorting in Windows 11's file attachment dialog to alphabetical order, enabling the 'apply to all' checkbox by default when replacing files during copy or move operations, and preventing Explorer from automatically creating copies of files with the same name instead of prompting for a replacement. These discussions focus on modifying Windows defaults to match user preferences for file management tasks.
