About this tag
The Dell N5010, also known as the Inspiron N5010, is a laptop model that users frequently discuss on WindowsForum.com in relation to driver and hardware issues. Common problems include Bluetooth pairing failures after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1, with errors about Bluetooth keys or passwords. Many users also report frequent BSOD crashes, often linked to drivers or the ntoskrnl.exe file, with errors like WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL. Wireless driver installation is another recurring challenge, where official Dell drivers may fail with a message that the software is not supported on the system, leaving unknown devices like Network Controller in Device Manager. Clean OS installs can also lead to wireless connectivity problems, even when other devices connect fine.
My Dell N5010 used to have BT until I upgraded from 7 to 8.1.
I just scanned with my phone for a BT device and it found the laptop.
However, when I try to pair my phone with it I gt a message that there is a problem with BT 's key or password.
Do you have any ideas?
