About this tag
The Dell T20 is a server model discussed in the context of Windows Server backup and recovery. A user replacing an HP ML110 G6 with a Dell T20 encountered issues when attempting to restore a VSS backup from the old server, which had multiple drives, to the new server's single RAID 1 volume. The recovery process only restored the C: drive, leading to boot problems. The discussion highlights challenges in migrating system state and Active Directory during a server hardware change.

Windoes server backup and recovery
I am having a problem recovering an HP ML110 G6 which is being replaced by a dell T20. I was thinking I could just use a VSS backup in the Windoes server recovery during the server 2008R2 install. The ML110 G6 has 4 drives in it. C: E: F: and :G. The new server only has a single RAID 1 Volume...- Gregory Lamb
