digital inclusion index

The digital inclusion index is a national policy metric developed by Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to measure and guide digital equity across the country. As part of Qatar's broader public-sector AI and digital strategy, the index tracks access, usage, and skills gaps among different population segments. The 2024 edition of the Digital Inclusion Index was rolled out alongside other major initiatives like the National Digital Authentication and Trust Services Strategy and events such as MWC25 Doha and World Summit AI–Qatar 2025. This tag covers discussions around how the index informs government AI adoption, Copilot deployment, and efforts to ensure inclusive access to emerging technologies in the Gulf region.
