    Windows 7 Can I disable Vol Shadow Copies but enable Sys Restore Points?

    I want to use the feature of System Restore Points but I don't want to use Volume Shadow Copies. Is it possible to disable the first but let the second feature be enabled? From what I read so far it does not become clear if this is possible at all. Are VSC a pre-condition to use SRPs? If...
