disc drives
About this tag
Disc drives can present various issues in Windows, as seen in a user's experience with trouble burning DVDs and drives showing phantom audio tracks. The user built a PC with two disc drives—a Blu-ray drive and an ASUS drive—and encountered problems where items waiting to be burned would not clear, and drives appeared to contain music CDs even when empty. Double-clicking the drives opened Windows Media Player. These symptoms suggest software conflicts or driver issues. Troubleshooting disc drives often involves checking burning software, clearing the burn queue, updating drivers, or using built-in Windows tools like the CD/DVD drive troubleshooter.
Have perused the topics but did not find a particular post specific to my concern.
First of all, having trouble burning dvd's and that lead to the current issue. The process does not seem to be straightforward.
