About this tag
Discord privacy settings are a recurring topic here because the controls are scattered across several menus rather than gathered in one place. Making a profile private does not also close direct messages, hide game activity, or revoke a connected app's access, and Discord documents each of those as separate choices. The tagged coverage walks through a practical checklist for the Windows desktop app and browser, covering how to hide activity, block unwanted DMs, and remove app access. It is aimed at Windows users who want a quieter, less revealing Discord presence without assuming one toggle handles everything.
