I have set-up a HomeGroup in my 2 computers network. One wired pc (Windows 7 x86) and 1 wireless laptop (Windows 7 x64) connected through a wireless Dlink router.
How can I remove the old shared folders, which no longer exist, from the pc's homegroup. That's folders that had been...
OK, I have a slightly different symptom of the same problem - W7 talking to XP
XP desktop wired net with printer
W7 laptop - wireless net
Dlink wireless router
Both can access the inet
neither see one another
printer and file sharing enabled on both
W7 cannot see printer on XP -- cannot see XP...
No networking - new Windows 7 computer - TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6 - Odd IPCONFIG results

The computer is Windows-7 64-bit.
I'm on Comcast - cable-modem.
The router is a DLink gaming router. I've bypassed the router - that didn't help.

I've got a deskjtop and a laptop and a DLink router. they were all linked happily a couple of years ago and still have their ip addresses. The desktop is hard-wired to the modem. the laptop has a wireless link.
