document lock

  1. Windows 7 document locked for editing

    I running Windows 7 and OpenOffice. When I try to open a file I get the message 'The document is locked for editing by 'my name' (time & date). If I go to the properties of that file in Explorer and change it to not Read Only, I still get the same message. I can open a copy to edit, save it...
