About this tag
Discussions tagged with document size on WindowsForum.com focus on issues where Microsoft Word 2003 fails to retain its window size and position settings across sessions. Users report that after closing and reopening the application, the document window reverts to a default size or location, disrupting workflow. These problems are observed on Windows XP and Windows 7 systems, often involving older hardware or software compatibility constraints. Troubleshooting tips include checking registry settings for Word's window placement keys, adjusting display settings, or applying workarounds like using the Windows Classic theme. The tag covers persistent window behavior problems in legacy Office versions rather than general document formatting or file size concerns.
