drive cleaner
About this tag
Discussions about drive cleaner tools on WindowsForum.com often involve users who have run a C: drive cleaner and subsequently encountered errors such as 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.' In these cases, the drive cleaner may have removed necessary system files or permissions, leading to application launch failures and persistent low disk space warnings even after cleaning. Troubleshooting typically focuses on restoring access, checking disk space, and ensuring the cleaner did not delete critical components. The tag covers issues where a drive cleaner utility causes unintended problems on Windows systems.
