dvd validation
About this tag
The dvd validation tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about verifying the integrity of Windows installation DVDs, particularly when installation fails. In one thread, a user reports that Windows 7 build 7000 64-bit hangs at the expanding files stage during installation, despite the DVD having been validated and fixed after burning. This suggests that even after validation, issues can still occur, leading to troubleshooting discussions about DVD quality, burning methods, and hardware compatibility. The tag is relevant for users experiencing installation failures and seeking advice on ensuring their installation media is error-free.
I decided to try out the beta and put it on my sons computer since he was needing a format anyway. It is an AMD 64 bit processor with a Seafate 75 gig IDE 2 gigs of ram and an ATI 1950pro. Ran Vista fine.
Anyway, I did a reformat of a the hard drive and all goes well it copys files and then...
