Here is what I'v noticed.... my usb motherboard ports work fine... as long as the device is plugged in when you boot. If you pull something out... and put it back in... it does not.
Also, I have 2 front USB ports... of which one works.... (at usb1.1 speeds WHY!) and the other always just says...
