About this tag
The email search tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussion of how search works inside Microsoft Outlook and related mail clients, with a focus on result relevance rather than query syntax. Recent tagged content examines Microsoft's testing of a small AI model used as a ranking engine in Outlook search, trained with supervision from a larger model and tuned to run efficiently at Outlook scale. The emphasis is on practical outcomes: surfacing the message you actually want instead of burying it under newsletters and meeting invites. Coverage stays close to Microsoft's mail search changes and the everyday frustration of poor results.
