About this tag
The error 0x000000d1, commonly associated with the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL stop code, appears in Windows 7 when a driver attempts to access a memory address at an improper interrupt request level (IRQL). This often leads to a blue screen of death (BSOD) and can cause infinite restart loops, preventing normal boot or safe mode access. Users may also encounter issues when trying to use the installation disk's repair options. Troubleshooting typically involves checking for faulty or outdated drivers, especially for network, graphics, or storage devices, and may require booting from recovery media to disable problematic drivers or perform system restore.
