escaping characters
About this tag
The escaping characters tag on WindowsForum.com covers issues where special characters like plus signs, dashes, or other symbols in filenames cause unexpected behavior in Windows search and file operations. Users discuss how Windows 7 and later versions treat certain characters as metacharacters, expanding them beyond their literal meaning.
