About this tag
The tag 'european cord' is used in a discussion about a desktop computer that was shipped from the USA to Europe and fails to display a signal on the monitor. The user troubleshoots HDMI and VGA connections, graphics card seating, RAM, and CMOS reset, but the issue persists. The tag may relate to power cord differences between regions, as European electrical standards differ from US ones, potentially causing power supply or compatibility problems. The thread focuses on hardware troubleshooting for a computer used in Europe with a US-origin device.

it up, nothing is displayed on the monitor besides "no signal". I thought maybe the HDMI cable was loose but it was not.
